Where Neighbors are Friends!
Briarwood Neighborhood is made up of about 600 homes in Northeast Columbia, SC. Most the homes were built in the early 1970's on oversized lots. The neighborhood backs to Sesquicentennial State Park, a beloved local treasure.
Briarwood boasts unbelievably easy access to both I-20 and I-77. Downtown is only 15 minutes away, and Fort Jackson just a 10 minute drive down I-77. Great shopping is found just 10 minutes away - whether you head to south to Forest Acres or north to Sandhills!
We may have Columbia addresses, but we're part of unincorporated Richland County. Our neighborhood is governed at the county level rather than by the City of Columbia.
The Briarwood Neighborhood Association is not a traditional HOA with strict rules and codes—we're just a group of neighbors coming together to keep our neighborhood a great place to live.
